3 Ways Silicone Wristbands can save Lives…
You may think that a silicone wristband is only useful for Charity events and music Festivals, but here are three other ways to use them, where they could even save lives…
- Medical Alerts:
All kinds of medical syndromes where the sufferer may not be able speak or tell you who they are; or where the sufferer may be unconscious, or perhaps behave differently causing unwanted attention for any reason. Wearing a medical alert wristband really could help and may even save their life. Things such as: Diabetes, Alzheimers, Downs-Syndrome, Autisim, and Epilepsy, it can have contact details of the hospital where they receive treatment, who would have knowledge of them and be able to treat them in double quick time.
- School Trips:
Have you ever tried to keep track of a class of children going round a museum? Especially if its one of the big London venues like; the Science or Natural History musems. Even grown ups can get lost in them for days on end… So if every School had a stack of branded, brightly coloured (or school badge branded) wristbands with the name of the school, web address and a contact telephone number, you will never need to worry again. Any lost child can easily be found and reported safe direct to the School Secretary!
- Residential Homes
In some residential homes, there are older people who sometimes forget who they are or where they live, but this may not stop them from going out to buy a newspaper, or even setting off to France for Remembrance Day without telling anyone. With a corporate branded wristband, this could help someone to be returned safely to their residence, without the need for calling in the emergency services. It’s definitely a great way to promote community awareness and spirit.
